… kurzes UpDate, ich sitze gerade vor Lightroom und 2.300 Fotos aus unserem letztem Việt Nam Urlaub! Und muss daher kurz den Blog-Post schreiben. Puh, ich fotografiere super gerne, ich liebe es … aber ich habe manchmal das Gefühl, dass 2 Wochen (Urlaubs-) Shooting auch 6 Wochen Bildbearbeitung nach sich ziehen. Warum ist das so? Klar, “wir” fotografieren nicht mehr auf “Film” sondern digital – kost ja nix und lieber 3, 4 Aufnahmen mehr gemacht als eine zu wenig. Anmerkung, die 3, 4 Mehr-Aufnahmen mache ich nicht inflationär und einfach druff sondern versuche, die Mehr-Aufnahme schon bewusst und unterschiedlich zu komponieren – meine ich 😉 . Trotzdem letztes Resultat: 2.300 Fotos, die irgendwie schon ganz gut sind und (zu-)viele und auch nach der reduzierten Kurzauswahl auch noch für mich sehr gut sind. Aber erst sehr gut, in dem ich mich in LR damit beschäftige und die optimiere … und das dauert. Und LR und ich sind verdaaammmt langsam bei der Bildbearbeitung. Und je mehr Fotos ich bearbeite, die dann nicht in die finale Auswahl kommen, um so länger dauert es. Grmph!
Und ich kann so verdammt wenig aussortieren … das ist es wahrscheinlich oder? Man muss mehr aussortieren!!! In meiner Verzweiflung und ob der anstehenden Bilder-Bearbeitungflut bitte ich schon mal meine Frau (ich mach die Augen zu), die Bilder vor zu sortieren … aber ich habe leider schon bei den Aufnahmen, die finale Bildbearbeitung im Kopf und nehme daher die von meiner Frau aussortierten wieder in die Erst-Favoriten rein … doppel Grmph. Damit Ihr wisst, was ich meine folgendes Beispiel – ein Bild, das ich schon in LR “markiert” hatte:
Wie geschrieben, waren wir neulich in Việt Nam und ich hatte meine “Bilder”, die ich machen wollte, schon im Kopf. Und ein Teil der Reise war auch die Halong Bucht … wer Việt Nam kennt, kennt auch die Halong Bucht und auch die geilen Fotos. Der Trip war klasse, wir haben tolle Leute kennengelernt, wirklich schön. Wirklich schön war das Wetter fototechnisch für mich nicht, dreifach Grmph! Aber seht selbst – so sah´s aus, kein Licht, keine Zeichnung, alles flau (Foto 1)! Und leider, leider, leider sind wir Urlaubsfotografen anders als die Profis urlaubstechnisch nicht so flexibel und ausdauernd sondern müssen das nehmen, was da ist 🙁 ! Und das musste ich nehmen …
Foto 1 – Wie Ihr seht, flaues Wetter / grauer Himmel… grmph. Trotzdem hat es das Foto in meine engere Auswahl geschafft. Warum auch immer und das hat schon Zeit gekostet, dieses Bild zu finden. Dann fange ich an, das Foto in LR für mich zu optimieren. Mein jetziger Workflow nach dem Import sieht vor, nachdem ich alle “Grotten-Fotos” aus selektiert habe, zunächst den Bildausschnitt für alle Bilder “gerade und transformatisch” auszurichten. Und das dauert auch schon … und danach geht´s an die Bearbeitung und da gibt´s ja auch mehrere Möglichkeiten.
Foto 2 – Ja, kann man so machen, überzeugt hat es mich nicht … ist ja immer auch eine Geschmacksfrage. In dem Bild hat jetzt der Himmel Zeichnung und so weiter, Ihr seht es. Aber so richtig haut es mich noch nicht um, S/W hatte ich auch ausprobiert, war aber auch nicht das Wahre. Ich wollte die Stimmung (aber nicht die flaue sondern unsere 🙂 ) einfangen … also noch mal rumgefriemelt und und in LR mehrere Varianten ausprobiert … und meinen jetzigen Favoriten gefunden.
Foto 3 – Ja, das ist jetzt und aktuell heute meine favorisierte Bildbearbeitung … ob es die bleibt, weiss ich noch nicht. Weil, es war es der erste Durchgang. Ich lasse alles jetzt mal ein paar Tage liegen und geh dann noch mal dran. Und dann schau´n we mal. Wenn ich dann fertig bin, selektiere ich alles noch mal in eine LR “Sammlung” und dann entscheidet meine Frau, was wirklich online geht. Ja, Ihr habt richtig gelesen, meine Frau macht die finale Auswahl meiner Fotos. Die hat den Blick und das Gespür für meine Fotos … und vor allem den Abstand zu dem ganzen LR-Krempel 🙂 ! Und by the way: Meine Frau kann konsequent aussortieren! Danke, Schatz!!!
